So firstly some of you ho follow me will likely be thinking... What? You said bands weren't a good tool for applying to rotator cuff exercises because of their increasing resistance as the band stretches!? That would be correct, now, as you might have guessed this is different. After all i'm always for sharing the situations that do not fit my paradigm or general statements, because of course context is everything.
This exercise is for the Hip Flexors, and in particular we are creating a challenge for them in their lengthened position. This is a very common position for people to have weakness in regards to their hip flexors, so guess what they likely need to do? Strengthen them in their lengthened position. Guess what this exercise is designed to do? Yep.
